We can confirm that striker Wayne McIntosh has left Penicuik. Wayne has decided now is the right time to take a break from football and spend time with his family.
Wayne joined us last summer from Bonnyrigg Rose and scored in his first outing in Penicuik blue and white with a strike against Auchinleck Talbot in the Adam Montgomery Memorial Trophy. His first competitive goal came against Oakley in the EOS Qualifying League Cup and it was the first of many as Wayne ended the season with a Conference A winners medal and 38 goals in 38 appearances, including a four-goal Midlothian Derby haul against Newtongrange as well as the crucial third goal against Broxburn in the playoffs.
Everyone at the club wishes Wayne all the very best in the future and thank you for your time at Penicuik.
