Thoughts from the Manager

After a sleepless weekend and time to reflect on this weekend's performance we all - staff, players and everyone associated with the club - know that it was totally unacceptable.

As a club we’re in a transitional period with many changes on the pitch and off the pitch and we know that it’s not going to happen overnight.

As a fan of football I know the frustrations of a fan for their team under performing, and as Manager I carry the can for that.

But I won’t walk away from this challenge.

I fully intend to continue giving my all to this club throughout my time at Penicuik. To steady the ship, this club needs stability as do the players and I’m 100% committed to doing this.

Although I'm aware that some fans may not have been aware of me prior to my appointment, I want you to know that I’m fully committed to the job ahead and that I can take the criticism when it's due, just as well as I can take the praise when it's earned.

It’s going to be a season full of ups and downs but one that I know will be easier with the full backing of the Cuikie support, who are the people at the club we work hardest to please. This is your club and we will do everything in our power to ensure we give you more ups than downs this season.

See you all this Saturday at Luncarty.
