We can confirm that Sean Stewart has agreed a pre-contact with Berwick Rangers and will join them upon the expiry of his contract with Penicuik.
Sean joined the Cuikie at the beginning of season 2019/20 from Vale of Leithen, making an instant impact as he bagged a debut goal against Dunbar United. He played a big role in our Scottish Cup run that season, bagging a hat-trick in the first Preliminary Round against Easthouses Lily, another goal in the 5-1 win at Cumbernauld Colts in Round 1 before sealing the 3-0 win over Stenhousemuir with the final goal of the game. Unfortunately a shoulder injury against Kinnoull ruled Sean out for what proved to the remainder of the season.
He returned at the beginning of season 2020/21, starting our opener against Broxburn, though injuries would limit his game time in the shortened N&V season. His only goal of the season sadly came in the abandoned game against Whitehill.
Sean leaves after twenty six appearances for Penicuik, scoring eight times.
Everyone at the club thanks you for your time at Penicuik and we wish you good luck for the future.
