We can confirm the transfer of defender Liam O'Donnell to Tynecastle.
'LOD' joined Penicuik Athletic in the summer of 2019 from LTHV where he previously won the East of Scotland League. Liam made his Penicuik debut against Dunbar United on the opening day of the 2019/20 season and opened his account for the Cuikie in a 4-1 win against Crossgates Primrose the following November.
Unfortunately a serious injury sustained during the short 2021/22 'Covid' season ruled Liam out of action for fifteen months, making his return firstly with our U20s in Feburary before making a substitute appearance for the first team in March.
Liam made twenty-eight appearances for Penicuik with one goal to his name. He spent the first part of this season on loan at former club Lothian Thistle Hutchison Vale before joining Tynecastle on loan in November.
