Lewis Turner signs

We are delighted to confirm the signing of midfielder Lewis Turner, formerly of Gretna 2008.

'Teapot' spent time as a youth with both Dunfermline Athletic and Livingston before joining Newtongrange Star in 2011, helping them to win the East Premier League in the 2012/13 season. He moved onto Berwick Rangers at the beginning of the following season and spent time on loan at Musselburgh Athletic before joining them on a permanent deal for season 2014/15, playing a crucial part in their run to the Scottish Junior Cup Final.

That summer saw Lewis join hometown club Bonnyrigg Rose, lifting the Super League title at the end of his first season at New Dundas Park, the first of many trophies in his time there. Highlights included a second Super League win, cup triumphs in both the East of Scotland and Fife & Lothians, scoring the Playoff winning goal to clinch the East of Scotland title after Bonnyrigg won Conference A, and helping Bonnyrigg to win both the Lowland League and League 2 Playoff last season. Overall he made 222 appearances for Bonnyrigg, scoring 35 times.

He moved onto Gretna 2008 in September 2022, making 22 appearances and scoring twice prior to his departure.

Welcome to the Cuikie Family Lewis and all the very best for the rest of the season!
