Lewis Coult is our new Manager

We are delighted to confirm the appointment of Lewis Coult as the new Manager of Penicuik Athletic Football Club. Lewis joins us from Edinburgh United and we thank them for their co-operation.

Lewis said of his appointment, "I'm delighted to be given the opportunity to join Penicuik and look forward to meeting the challenges ahead with the new season looming. It's a challenge I relish and look forward to working with everyone at the club and look forward to meeting the squad tomorrow."

Club President Andy Penman welcomed Lewis to the Club and said, "First and foremost, I am delighted to have Lewis on board as a young and upcoming manager and look forward to seeing him develop his potential and flourish at the Club. After a period of instability, I am confident that Lewis will help us go forward in line with our strategy and bring the best out of a talented, but youthful playing squad."

Lewis spent time with Hearts as a youngster before a spell with Leicester City. He made his senior debut for Hamilton Academicals in 2006 at the age of 17. During the rest of his playing career, Lewis spent spells at Alloa Athletic, Berwick Rangers, Leith Athletic, Lothian Thistle, Heriot Vale, Eastcraigs United, Arniston Rangers, Cowdenbeath, Airdrieonians, Stirling Albion, Arbroath, Newtongrange Star, Clermiston Vale, Gorgie Hearts and Edinburgh Star. He took the reins at Paties Road last summer with his first managerial role at Edinburgh United.

We wish Lewis all the very best in his new role and look forward to welcoming him into our Cuikie Family!
