We can confirm the transfer of defender Lewis Collins to Whitehill Welfare.
Lewis joined Penicuik in July 2019, initially as part of our U20 squad before being promoted to the first team in July 2021. Lewis made his debut as a substitute on the opening day of 2021/22 against Broxburn with his first start coming eleven days later at Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts. He scored his only Penicuik goal last March, in a 5-1 win against Peebles Rovers in the League Cup.
At the beginning of this season, he made a short-term loan move to our neighbours Whitehill Welfare and having established himself in their first team, he now makes that move permanent.
Overall, Lewis made 30 appearances for Penicuik, scoring once and contributing two assists.
