We can confirm that coach Davie Lees has departed Penicuik Athletic.
Davie first joined Penicuik in 2016 as part of Johnny Harvey’s backroom staff and formed a vital part of the management team that guided the club to back-to-back highest Super League finishes and the East of Scotland Cup win in 2018.
Davie left the Cuikie to take on a role at Berwick Rangers later that year before returning to Penicuik Park in September 2019, resuming his role as a coach within Tony Begg and Kevin Milne's management team.
A well-respected figure around the club, Davie was asked to take the team as interim manager following Tony's departure at the start of the 2021/22 season and Davie led the club to eight wins out of eight before playing his part in Stevie McLeish's management team over the past eighteen months.
