We are delighted to confirm the signing of goalkeeper Dale Cornet!
A vastly experienced keeper, ‘Disco’ began his career with Hearts, with spells at Edinburgh City and Craigroyston preceding him joining Musselburgh Athletic for the first time. He then moved onto Arniston Rangers before returning to Musselburgh. Latterly he has been at Haddington Athletic since 2018, where he was regarded as one of the best goalkeepers at our level.
He has made several appearances during our preseason campaign, highlighted by a penalty save in our win against Easthouses.
Lewis Coult said, “I’m delighted to get Disco on board, he’s got plenty of experience at this level and was someone I was keen to bring in once I heard there was a possibility. He’s already forged a good relationship with John Menzies and I look forward to working with him.”
